SANTA MONICA, CA, VANCOUVER, BC, and NEW YORK, NEW YORK, November 19, 2009 - Lionsgate Music Publishing LLC, the music publishing arm of Lionsgate (NYSE: LGF), the leading next generation studio, and Cherry Lane Music Publishing Company, Inc, a leading independent music publishing company, have entered into a multi-year administration agreement for the US and Canada, it was announced today by Lionsgate Music President Jay Faires and Cherry Lane CEO Peter Primont.

NEW YORK, NY, November 9, 2009 – Cherry Lane Music Publishing, home to writer/artists including will.i.am, John Legend, and David Cook, as well as the Elvis Presley and Quincy Jones catalogs, has signed a multi-year publishing agreement with Grammy nominated artist Jordin Sparks. Cherry Lane will administer Sparks' publishing worldwide for her self-titled debut album and the current Battlefield as well as future endeavors during the term.

The pact will have INgrooves providing digital distribution services, including downloading, streaming, ringtones, and video distribution for Cherry Picked owned and administered masters.

New York, New York: Sept. 15, 2009: LAVA Music Publishing Co. Inc., the joint venture between Cherry Lane Music Publishing Company and Jason Flom, has signed British phenomenon Joe Brooks to a publishing deal covering North and South America. The deal unites both records and publishing under the LAVA banner and will provide for turn key licensing and promotion of Joe's music.

Mary Travers, whose ringing, earnest vocals helped secure the international success of 1960s folk trio Peter, Paul, and Mary, passed away September 16 at the age of 72. Cherry Lane founder Milt Okun, who coached the trio from their inception in 1961, arranged and produced their recordings, and was pivotal in their landmark and Grammy winning covers of John Denver’s “Leaving on a Jet Plane,” and “Puff the Magic Dragon” written by Peter Yarrow and Lenny Lipton.
