NEW YORK, NY, JULY 13 2010 - Cherry Lane Music Publishing (part of BMG) has signed a worldwide co-publishing deal with pop songstress Katt Rockell. Katt is one of the fastest rising writing talents on the pop scene today, having co-written with Alex Da Kid (B.O.B feat Hayley Williams), Cutfather (Kylie Minogue, Pussycat Dolls, Jordin Sparks, JLS) and many more. Rockell’s talent quickly caught the attention of Cherry Lane Music, and led to her signing.

NEW YORK, NY, JULY 13, 2010 - Cherry Lane Music Publishing (part of BMG), home to writer/artists including will I am, John Legend, Warren Haynes, and the catalogs of Elvis Presley, John Denver and T-Bone-Walker, has signed a multi-year worldwide administration deal with legendary Texas bluesman Johnny Winter. The deal covers songs written or co-written by Winter, including “Dallas,” “Guess I’ll Go Away,” “Hustled Down in Texas,” and “Mean Town Blues.”

Created by MobiStories, the app cleverly combines the music and lyrics of Paxton’s classic song with Steve Cox’s stunning illustrations from the hardcover book released by Imagine Publishing.

NEW YORK, NY, JUNE 14 2010 - Cherry Lane Music Publishing (part of BMG) has signed worldwide multi-year publishing deals with the widely acclaimed funkadelic gospel songstress Alysha Brillinger and Throwing Gravity frontman Nick Newhouse. They join the growing roster of the joint venture publishing agreement, Lava Publishing, between Cherry Lane and renowned music executive Jason Flom. Previous signings include rock band Pop Evil and UK singer/songwriter Joe Brooks.

NEW YORK, NY, MARCH 15, 2010: Cherry Lane Music Publishing has signed on legendary Australian indie Mushroom Music Publishing as their sub publisher in Australia and New Zealand. Under the terms of the deal, Mushroom will represent Cherry Lane's entire catalog, which includes current chart toppers Black Eyed Peas, John Legend, and David Cook and the catalogs of Elvis Presley, John Denver, Quincy Jones, DreamWorks Pictures, E! Entertainment, The Weinstein Company, and Lionsgate amongst others.
